When you submit a roof request, contractor application, support inquiry, or other form, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, project address or ZIP code, project details, service areas, company information, and other information you choose to provide.

How we use information

We use submitted information to operate the matching service, respond to requests, route homeowner requests to participating contractors, process contractor applications, communicate about the service, prevent abuse, maintain records, and improve the website.

Sharing with contractors

Homeowner project and contact information may be shared with up to three participating independent roofing contractors that serve the relevant area or project type so they can respond to the request.

Service providers

We may use third-party providers for website hosting, form delivery, email, analytics, security, payment processing, or other operational services. Those providers may process information as necessary to provide their services.

Form delivery

Website forms may be processed by a third-party form delivery provider before the submission is delivered to Roof Contractor Match. The form processor receives the fields necessary to transmit the request.

Approximate location

The coverage page may use an IP-based location service to estimate a visitor's general city, state, or postal area so the page can show locally relevant wording. We do not need a visitor's precise GPS location for this feature. Roofing matching itself uses the project ZIP or service area submitted through the site.

Marketing choices

You may opt out of marketing emails or texts using the instructions in the message or by contacting us. Transactional or service-related messages may still be sent when necessary to handle a request.

Data retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for business, legal, fraud-prevention, security, and recordkeeping purposes.

Your choices

You may contact us to ask about information you submitted, request a correction, or ask that information be deleted where applicable. We may retain information when necessary for legal, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes.
